I just love the gentle way Aragorn treats Pippin, and look forward to all of our heroes' healing!

Author Reply: Yeah, don't we all! =) K.G.

Alas for the loss of Kimbra, whose support for both my writing and my own physical ills was invaluable. Thank you for letting us know, as Febobe was one of those whose writing brought me into the fanfiction community. May God give her the rest she deserves. Her own body has been through so very much in the time I've known her.

I see the new AU elements to the story in Nenya being freed of the influence of the One. That is nice. And I loved the inclusion of the Oz song into this! Delightful!

Now Stephen is awake and recovering, the war is over, Pippin, Frodo and Sam are rescued, and the older children will shortly be reunited until Mom, Dad, and the sisters can come, too. Wonderful! Now, to await the conclusion to the story.

Author Reply: Yes, Kimbra's death is quite a loss, isn't it? I never knew her myself, but I can see that others have read and enjoyed her stories.

I'm glad you like the AU element and the allusion to The Wizard of Oz!

Keep reading, and you'll see how the story develops from here. =)

Oh. I am so grieved to hear the news of febobe. Thank you for letting us know.

And it was good to read this chapter, where it almost seems as if everything sad is coming undone. Hugs to you both.

Author Reply: Yeah, that was sad news. Dreamflower told me about the news of febobe.

I'm glad you enjoyed this chapter. K.G.

Author Reply: You're welcome. That is not good news, I know. =(

I'm glad you're enjoying the story.
