A special moment of thanks properly shared with their friends, who understand more than the three modern children realize.

How sore those who are riding must get after most of the day in the saddle!

Author Reply: It's most fortunate for Kevin, Jennifer, and Joey that their friends do understand so well.

And you're not kidding about riding! K.G.

"Never come between a hobbit and his food!"

Haha! Seems as if that ought to be a byword in the Shire, somehow.

It sounds as if Boromir, and Frodo and Sam, are in good hands.

Author Reply: LOL! Yeah, you're not kidding! =) K.G.

First, I'm glad you're *both* feeling better!

"Everything was, as you say, Oh-Kay," he said, chuckling. Joey blushed. The Gondorians had picked up on that word, and he had even heard them using it among themselves a time or two. He wasn't entirely sure if that was a good thing or not. But he didn't think it would change the past or anything.

That's funny. And I can't think of any reason why the children can't introduce a version of the Egg McMuffin to Middle-earth! :)

Author Reply: LOL! Seems to me there'd have to be a McDonald's first. I'm sure the children would at least love to introduce hamburgers and French fries to Middle-earth! =)
