|The Story of Aule's Firstborn by Ellynn||9 Review(s)|

I loved this! I generally don't read Dwarf-centric stories but I simply loved the care and love that Aule put into to his creations and the similar love and care that you put into crafting this story. You say they are vignettes but they flow very well as one story. I am so glad I tapped on this story to read! Thank you!
Author Reply: Aww, thanks for comparing my effort for this story with Aule's effort for his children! :)))
I really enjoyed writing this, and thank you so much for reading and reviewing.

...he would never see him again, but to feel him this way gave him comfort... Yes, beautifully put. There are many who also find Durin's Father's FATHER in that way. We can feel the presence of Our Father in His creations, too. And also, in lovely, light-filed stories, like yours. That is probably the biggest reason I keep coming back to SOA!
Author Reply: I don't believe in any supernatural being. I simply enjoy writing, and my stories are my creations.
Anyway, thanks a lot for reading and reviewing! :)

I suddenly understood. Now I know how my father felt.
That's a wonderful way to wrap up this story. Well done. :)
Author Reply: I really enjoyed writing this.
Thank you for your support throughout the whole series. *hugs*

It sure can. Lucky lass to catch the eye and heart of Durin!
Author Reply: Yes, I agree, it can.
And lucky Durin - he caught her eye too! :) <3
Thanks for the review. *hugs*

Every day I get up with a smile, and I head towards the new joy.
I'd love to wake each day like that! Maybe I need to. :)
What a beautifully-written story. I'm enjoying everything about it.
Author Reply: I'm sure your pup gives you new joy each day :))) Focus on that ;)
Thank you so much, you put a big smile on my face. :)
There'll be two more chapters til the end.

There were so many of them and they were very bright – so bright that in the next moment he thought that the lake was the place where they really lay, and that the sky was just the reflection.
I love that. Wouldn't we love to go there! I'm enjoying this story very much, it's a wonderful glimpse into a time in the lives of the Dwarves that I never thought much about!
Author Reply: Thank you so much!
Well... I never thought much about Dwarves either! I've written fan fiction from 2006 to 2012, and started again about a year and a half ago, after a long pause. And I never wrote Dwarves! My "dwarvish phase" started a few months ago, and it doesn't let go. :)
I still hope to translate "reclaiming khazad-dum", although it grows...

He was far from father now, and he knew he'd never see him again; the new life in the new world awaited him. But the possibility to feel him this way, to get just a little closer to him, gave him a big joy and comfort.
How lovely. You're crafting a wonderful tale.
Author Reply: Awww, thank you so much. <3

I am fascinated. I never really write about dwarves. This was lyrical and enticing! :-))
Author Reply: You know, I've been writing fanfiction since 2006, and I've never written dwarves until the past few months!!! I am totally in a dwarvish phase now, and it began a few months ago :)
Thank you so much for the review! *hugs*

Oh, I'm looking forward to this series. What a great beginning. To have dreams filled with love and purpose... no wonder the dwarves were such confident beings.
Author Reply: I don't know how often I'll post, but I've been quite creative lately - just like my brain is trying to compensate for the 6.5 years of writing draught between 2012 and beginning of 2019 - so i hope that I will continue to be creative. I'd be satisfied if I could write one chapter a month.
Thank you so much for your kind words! *hugs*
