I can't wait for more! The images in your story are very clear and I can see the injured traveling in the wagons as I read. I like that you included Frodo and the way the proper respect was demanded for the Ringbearer. I look forward to the next chapter.

This is a very moving story. These are two of my favorite characters and I love what you are doing with this. I have read other stories about the aftermath of the battle, but the relationships in yours ring very true. I am looking forward to the next chapter so I will read on.

Oh, dear, how terribly tense! I always thought too much was left out of this part in the story! I love how you have written Beregond! I always found his character entriguing and you are describign him so well! I love how you wrote with flashbacks to when they were in Gondor! I like Targon! Very interesting story and just another example of how hobbits can worm their way into your heart! thank you for such a neat story, looking forward to more!

That's a *very* insightful idea, and one I hadn't thought of -- that the air would get easier to breathe, the farther away from Mordor they travelled. Wow, Beregond is more than repaying Pippin for the hobbit saving his life. Such angst, Lindelea!

A wonderful introduction! I look forward to future chapters.
Author Reply: Well thank you, Tim! Have posted a new chapter just this morning as a matter of fact.

Good, please keep going.
Author Reply: Thanks for the encouragement. Will keep going all the way to chapter 6 (the end). At least this story is finished and beta-read, already. That's a help. All I have to do is incorporate the beta changes, chapter-by-chapter.

Oh, this is wonderful!
"Then his questing fingers found fabric, a sleeve; he reached further and discovered a small hand. Taking it in his own, he felt the small fingers twitch as he closed his hand around them."
What an amazingly detailed perspective to be taking on this oh-too-brief part of the book.
Author Reply: My, high praise coming from one of my favourite authors, whose detailed perspectives I am on occasion found to inhale greedily (usually when there are a few moments of quiet around here. Quiet? What's that?).
Thanks for reviewing!
